I read this in today’s P&J & was instantly irritated. Firstly, the amount raised: £80,000 is an incredible amount - but when you realise that Aberdeen Student Show ALONE raised £80k for AUSA charities campaign you have to wonder what the other events raised eg torcher parade, the bungee jump etc. Secondly, there is no mention of the Student Show in the article at all, baring in mind it brought a huge (if not all) proportion in. Thirdly, my biggest gripe is that the Charity President is paid about £18k for their role - but what do they actually raise? Again, the administrator of Student Show (and their team) works tirelessly to produce such a huge event which raises thousands for charity, and doesn’t get paid. When will #AUSA pull their finger out and address the issue? That’s at least the last 2 years that the Charity President has barely done anything. Poor show AUSA, poor show Emily Beever, poor show Aberdeen University. These are my own personal opinions as I am so infuriated by the whole situation. #charity

My gorgeous graduation present from my lovely London cousins. Three of my fave things rolled into one: a pug dressed in Red tweed. His name is Mac Chow, no Ògha Fù
